Latest COVID-19 News

A message from the CEO

Dear Family and Friends,

I’m pleased to advise you all that Villa Dalmacia has transitioned out of our COVID-19 Outbreak. The Health department has removed us from their records as an active outbreak.

With this news, we will be changing our visiting arrangements from tomorrow Wednesday 01/06/2022. We will no longer require visitors to perform a RAT before entering the facility. As long as you have an up to date (2022) Flu vaccination and have received your COVID vaccinations, you will be allowed to enter the facility.

You will have to continue to wear a mask whilst in the building and please, if you have any flu like symptoms, stay at home.

Visiting will continue to be in your loved ones room and you can visit for up to 2 hours per visit. You will be allowed to visit more than once per day should you want to.

Visiting times will be 9am to 7pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 4pm at the weekends and public holidays.

You will no longer have to make an appointment, but you will still have to check in via the zipline tablet at the entrance.

I’m incredibly proud of the staff here at Villa Dalmacia. They have worked tirelessly to make sure your loved ones were cared for and supported. I’d like to thank all of you for your support and I hope you are all doing well.

If you have any questions, please let our administration team know.

Kind regards,
Lee Hickman

How to keep in contact

If you are unable to come and visit in person we do offer other options for keeping in contact with your loved ones. We understand just how important it is that family are able to speak to each other and see each other on a regular basis.
Because of this we can offer;

  • Facetime / Skype – for anyone who is wanting to do a video call we are able to do this with either facetime or skype. All you need to do is call the office on 9418 5222 to book in a time and we will get it organised for a time that suits you.
  • Phone Calls – for those residents who do not have a phone in their room or a mobile you are still able to speak to them on the phone by calling the office and asking to speak to your loved one.
  • Mail – anyone who wants to write letters or send cards to keep up to date is encouraged and we are happy to assist anyone who wants to do this.
